Cabbages are just beginning to form Harvested Romaine and pulled up on the 22nd. Tomatoes from seed are growing with a couple yellow blossoms. Harvested a broccoli of the size below. All broccoli plants are producing. All vegetables in this strip are healthy.

Just learned that Monterey mushroom compost will no longer be available. Searching for a substitute.
Removed tarp from south 2/3 of garden and /aid down cardboard on the area. Weeds are dead. Put 2 loads of compost on top, probably the last Monterey I will have. Soaking for a couple weeks. Planting will be in mid-January, hoping there won’t be a frost.

Cabbage, Broccoli, and Tomato growth as of Jan 6, 2024. The tomatoes were transplanted to garden from seed on Nov 22. The broccoli and cabbage were purchased and planted around the same time.
